Meet Dr. Hailey

Doctor of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine

Hi, I’m Dr. Hailey.

My path to Chinese medicine began with my own healing journey. After being diagnosed with autoimmunity as a teenager, I spent years navigating symptoms, appointments, and the feeling that something deeper was being missed.

What I know now is that healing is never just one thing. The mind and body are deeply connected, and symptoms are often the body’s way of asking us to listen more closely. Chinese medicine gave me a language for what I had always felt to be true: everything is connected.

After studying nutrition in college, I went on to earn my Doctorate in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine and become a licensed acupuncturist. My work today is shaped by clinical training, my own experience as a patient, and the thousands of treatments I’ve had the honor of providing. I’ve also completed advanced training in cosmetic acupuncture, blending my clinical background with a longtime love for holistic skincare.

At VIVO, my intention is to create a space where you can slow down, feel supported, and reconnect with your body. Whether you are navigating chronic symptoms, stress, or simply sensing that something feels off, I’m here to meet you with care and curiosity.

Outside of the clinic, I’m usually planning my next hiking trip, taking a scenic stroll with Monty, my German shepherd, or enjoying live music and comedy shows. North County is one of my favorite places to spend time: close-knit, community-oriented, and full of people who genuinely care about living well. I’m grateful to be growing the VIVO family here in Encinitas.

Why VIVO?

VIVO is inspired by the phrase in vivo, meaning “within the living body.” The name reflects the way I approach care: looking at the whole person, listening closely to the patterns beneath the symptoms, and recognizing that the body is an interconnected system.

In a world that often asks us to push through discomfort or treat symptoms in isolation, it is easy to feel disconnected from what our bodies are trying to communicate.

At VIVO, my goal is to help you make sense of those signals. Through acupuncture and integrative medicine, I offer thoughtful, individualized care designed to support your body, improve how you feel, and help you move through life with greater ease.
